Farmers are encouraged to use agricultural methods that neither deplete the soil nor hurt environmental systems or farm workers.

One thing, is we are not consuming the chemical and pesticides that most foods are laden with.

It's almost common knowledge now that many of the ailments that the western world suffer from is due from the food that we eat.

Before a product can be labeled "organic" a Government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards.
