Role In Health Fitness

Mental-Health is much more than the absence of mental illness. It is about physical and emotional well being, which includes our wills and emotions.

It is about having the capacity to live a full and creative life and also the flexibility to deal with its problems.

The mind arena(emotion and will), has needs just as the body has needs for physical fitness. In order to insure good Mental-Health, it must be fed. Love is one of the basic needs of the mind, but there are others, as well.

  • meaningful work,
  • a sense of self-worth,

That is, our minds have a need to receive, to take in, to appreciate and enjoy, but also our minds need to express, to give out, to perform, participate, or display.

Your mind-will-emotion is a major component of Mental-Health. As it exists right now, is influenced by three main factors:

  • your genetic inheritance
  • your childhood home environment
  • your education and experience.
