Beauty Spa Decorations
Remove as much of the furniture from one room as you can. You may leave some tables and some seating.
Have plenty of cushions, blankets lying around for comfort.
If you are trying to achieve an actual Day Spa feeling, Solid Color Partyware in Chartreuse, pink, white and bright blue would make a great color scheme for this party.
If you are hosting more of a "make over" party then your colors would be pink, lavender and blue. Really it's up to the party girl and her favorite colors.

Have soothing, relaxation music CDs or tapes from Amazon available.

Towels, robes-fresh from the dryer and folded into lofty cubes (use your best towels, of course).
Pitchers of water or chilled bottles of water (particularly attractive bottles are a plus..splurge at your local gourmet store for pretty bottles and leave the plastic sports bottle in your pantry!)

Spa Party Professionals
Most home spa parties cost between $100 - $150 per person and include two or three treatments, and sometimes a gift. Ask whether gratuities are included. Some spa party companies also arrange catering and elaborate goodie bags.If the budget does not permit it, you and your friends could trade duties for facials, manicures and massages.
Set spa party for girls up into stations with a helper at each station. Nails, Facials, foot soaks, make-up and hair. I would only select three stations for the spa party for girls.
Activities for Recreation
Upon arrival give each guest a lightweight smock or robe and headband

Playing with hair and doing hair have been slumber party specials forever, but a facial or pedicure, something with a chi-chi spa theme, has a lot of interest for spa party for girls.A 10-year old doesn't need an intense facial, but she wants the pampering, the special experience.
It's another way to play with makeup without doing little-girl dress-up makeup. The girls will feel a little grown up, and it's not something they do on the average day.

ADDITIONAL SPA ACTIVITIES
These projects can be added before or after the "spa activities" and can be added to the party favor bags.
Bath Salts:
You'll need:
- Epsom Salts (pharmacy)
- Soap fragrance drops (craft store)
- Soap Dye (craft store)
- Zip-loc baggies
- Label stickers and markers
Before you mix the salts have the girls design their own label for their bag. Create an appealing, relaxing name and then decorate the label as well.Then place 3/4 - 1 cup of Epsom salts into the baggie. Pick a color and add a few drops of color and scent. Seal the bag and mix it up.
Body Glitter:
You'll need:
- Aloe Vera gel
- Small travel cosmetic container with a screw top lid
- Fine polyester glitter (craft store)
- Blank labels and markers
- wood craft sticks for stirring
Have the girls design their own label for their container. Give their body glitter a fun name and decorate the label as well.Fill the container about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Sprinkle the glitter into the aloe gel until the desired effect is achieved. Mix with wooden craft sticks.
Have disposable cameras to take plenty of pictures. If possible send a picture home with each guest for memories.
When it's finally time to say goodbye, I think you'll agree that this was a healthy and fun spa party for girls!
