Yoga has many benefits. One is that it works at ridding the body of stress. Stress is a killer and many experts link cancer to stress.

If you are like me, you immediately associate it with mysticism.



However, I found out that this exercise means to yoke and its purpose is to yoke or to join the mind, body and breath. The correct poses will bring about the joining of these three. When one of the three is out of balance, the other two are also affected.

This exercise is as natural as taking deep, easy breaths or stretching gently from head to toe. As the three are brought into balance with each other, the body is allowed to heal and maintain natural health and beauty.
